A Structured Routine Designed Around Recovery, Participation & Emotional Wellbeing
Every day at SAA is thoughtfully structured to encourage stability, confidence, emotional wellbeing, social interaction, and independent living through therapeutic activities and meaningful participation.
Morning Routine
MORNING WALK & NEWSPAPER READING
The day begins with brisk walking and newspaper reading sessions that encourage physical wellbeing, focus, awareness, communication, and engagement with the world around them.
Therapeutic Engagement
THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITIES
Throughout the week, PMIs participate in therapies such as dance movement therapy, art and craft, animal-assisted therapy, drum therapy, and Theatre of the Oppressed to encourage emotional expression, communication, confidence, and social interaction.
Recreation & Everyday Skills
RECREATION & LIFE SKILLS
Indoor games, reading, singing, emotional management sessions, and money-handling activities help PMIs develop life skills, emotional awareness, responsibility, and confidence in everyday situations.
Kitchen & Stitching Units
OCCUPATIONAL REHABILITATION
PMIs actively participate in kitchen and stitching activities that promote responsibility, vocational engagement, teamwork, and skill development through meaningful daily participation.
Reflection & Routine Building
TEA MAKING & DIARY WRITING
Tea-making, diary writing, and recovery reflections help encourage self-awareness, routine-building, communication, peer support, and emotional expression.
Ending the Day with Calmness
YOGA & MEDITATION
The day concludes with yoga and meditation sessions focused on relaxation, mindfulness, emotional balance, and mental wellbeing.
Recovery is built gently through meaningful everyday experiences.

SAA provides day rehabilitation services for persons with mental illness who are stable or in the remission phase. The program is designed to help individuals gradually rebuild confidence, develop independent living skills, and participate meaningfully in everyday life through structured therapeutic and community-based activities.The rehabilitation process focuses on emotional wellbeing, routine-building, communication, social interaction, and skill development within a safe and supportive environment guided by trained professionals and volunteers.
