10 September • Caregivers' Day

Honouring the Invisible Care Behind Recovery

Every year on 10th September, SAA observes Caregivers’ Day on the birth anniversary of SAA’s founder Dr. Jagannath Wani — himself a caregiver who transformed his personal struggle into a movement of compassion, dignity and support for families living with mental illness.

The day is a tribute to the family resilience, patience and lifelong commitment of family caregivers who provide support to their loved ones through their recovery journeys that are often go unseen by the society.
