UNDERSTANDING REHABILITATION
What is Psychosocial Rehabilitation?
Psychosocial rehabilitation is a structured and recovery-oriented approach that helps individuals living with mental health conditions improve emotional well-being, daily functioning, confidence and social participation.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, rehabilitation encourages meaningful routines, therapeutic engagement, community participation and supportive environments that help individuals gradually rebuild confidence and independence.
Recovery is not only about treatment, it is also about participation, dignity, routine and belonging.
At SAA, psychosocial rehabilitation focuses on helping individuals participate meaningfully in everyday life through structured support systems, therapeutic activities, emotional encouragement and community interaction.
